No configuration is required, and you only need one 2N® 2Wire unit at each end of the cable, where at least one of them is connected to a power source. The 2N® 2Wire unit then provides PoE power not only to the second converter, but also to all other connected IP equipment.

Quick ViewAll 2N® IP units come with Basic license, the only exception is 2N® IP Vario with display, keypad and camera which comes with preloaded Gold license. We believe that most applications can do with basic level, so the users do not need to pay for features they do not use.
For Advanced applications, 2N have a variety of licences which unlock useful features within their IP intercoms.Users who wish to check the features can do so by activating the Trial Gold licence for 800 hours.
We have created a list detailing some of the features available and which licence is required. Please check the same by clicking on 2N Licensing Features
