The Axis D6310 Air Quality Sensor is an all-in-one indoor air quality monitor and vape detector designed to help organisations proactively improve indoor environments and automate responses to air quality issues. Furthermore, it is built with privacy in mind, making it easy to deploy in sensitive areas without compromising compliance.
Smart Detection and Automated Responses
The D6310 monitors a comprehensive range of air quality indicators including particulate matter (PM), volatile organic compounds (VOC), nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon dioxide (CO2), relative humidity, temperature, humidex and heat index. In addition, it can detect vaping and smoking and trigger automated responses immediately when defined thresholds are breached. As a result, organisations can enforce smoking and vaping restrictions without relying on manual monitoring.
All-in-One Standalone Device
The D6310 combines multiple capabilities in one compact unit. It includes a built-in speaker and microphone for two-way communication, a PIR sensor for presence detection, four multicolour LEDs for instant visual alerts and AXIS Audio Analytics for AI-based sound detection. Moreover, it can detect critical sounds such as screams, shouts and breaking glass, as well as measure sound pressure levels (SPL) to monitor noise pollution. The built-in microphone and audio analytics can be disabled at any time to protect privacy.
Open Platform and Easy Integration
Built on AXIS OS, the D6310 integrates seamlessly with Axis products through edge-to-edge pairing and works with third-party systems via VAPIX, MQTT, SIP and ACAP. It supports PoE passthrough, so it can receive power and forward it to another PoE device simultaneously. Furthermore, a virtual stream lets you view live data and visualise measurements in a dashboard via any web browser or VMS. AXIS Device Manager makes ongoing maintenance and cybersecurity management straightforward, with no extra licences or data processing fees required.
